About Trust
Shri. Dadasaheb Gawai Charitable Trust, Amravati is an organization with a difference. It has its own well defined ideological orientation and commitments. Social transformation in a desired direction is one of its cherished goals and it believes that education can be an effective prime mover for such social transformation. The Trust was set up with an aim of providing qualitative and effective dispensation of academic, professional and functional Education, meant for, and dedicated especially to the poor and the down-trodden sections of the society. The Trust was created by the visionary, pioneer and a towering personality Shri. Dadasaheb Gawai.
Today Shri. Dadasaheb Gawai Charitable Trust runs and manages 47 Institutes ranging from primary, secondary, higher, technical, and professional education. Late shri. Dadasaheb Gawai had very aptly coined “Transformation of society through quality education” as the official moto of Takshashila Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kherda.
