D.Pharm- 60 seats (2 Years)

D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) course focuses on providing students with the foundational knowledge and skills required for entry-level positions in the pharmacy field. The duration of the D.Pharm course is two years.


B.Pharm.- 60 seats (4 Years)

B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is a four year undergraduate course in the field of pharmacy. It is a comprehensive program that provides students with in-depth knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy practice, and related areas.

 

M.Pharm. (2 Years)
Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance

It ensures adherence to quality standards in the manufacturing, testing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.


Pharmacology

It involves focusing on the study of drug action, drug design, development, and therapeutic use. It involves study of how chemical agents, both natural and synthetic (i.e., drugs) affect biological systems.



Eligibility Criteria

For pharmacy courses such as D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy), B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) and M.Pharm, the general eligibility criteria are as follows:

D.Pharm
  • Pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
  • Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination

Note:  Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.

B.Pharm
  • Passed the HSC examination or its equivalent examination with: PCB or PCM group with 45% (135) marks (for open category & 40% (120) marks for reserve category.
  • Non-zero score in MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) or NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
Direct second Year B.Pharm
  • A candidate should have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy examination from an institution in Maharashtra or outside Maharashtra affiliated to concern State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate after (10+2) Science i.e. HSC or its equivalent examination.
M.Pharm
  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from any All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved institution, with at least 55% marks (at least 50% marksin case of Backward Class category, Economically weaker section and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  • Obtained non zero positive score in Graduates Pharmacy Aptitude Test(GPAT) conducted by National Testing Agency;
  • For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of fulltime work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
